Akpabio quizzed by EFCC for the 2nd day running

Former AkwaIbom state governor, Godswill Akpabio returned to the EFCC headquarters today for more questioning on the alleged N108.1 billion fraud allegedly perpetrate by himself and his aides while he was in office as governor. Akpabio who made his first appearance at the anti-graft agency's office yesterday evening, made his second visit to the agency at about 11am today.

At a pre-inauguration press briefing on the Augustine University campus in Epe on Saturday, the Archbishop of the Metropolitan Lagos, Most Reverend Alfred Adewale Martins, disclosed that the project, which began in October 2008, had materialised after seven years. According to the Vice Chancellor, Steve Afolami, the institution would begin academic work on October 30. Students of the Augustine University will have access to the internet and other relevant facilities, with the highest fee put at #730,000 Naira, according to the Vice Chancellor.
